A speculative project that imagines a community who falls in love with the act of growing and living with mushrooms. They, alongside their community, begin to experiment.
A variety of material explorations along gradients of exposure to the elements, substrate density, and mold resulted in a set of friends to explore with.
Our protagonist refigures her quaint domestic Aarhus apartment into a space organized around aligning her daily rhythms to that of the mushroom. Relative humidity, sterility, comfort and residential infrastructure are all refigured around this aim of growing closer to her new love.
