We in Kalundborg are at the forefront of Green.‬ Our industrial symbiosis, now an infrastructural‬ sympoiesis. Today, we follow the steam pipes‬ through our beautiful Kommune. Kalundborg was‬ once a city centered around its church, as is‬ tradition‬.

‭We love our church, but turn to the other side‬ to see the power plant in the distance that tells‬ the story of our now. Next to it, our flag stands‬ tall where the old coal chimney used to be.‬‭ Citizens need jobs, so we employ more. Cities‬ need energy, so we generate more. People need‬ medicine, so we formulate more.

The‬ earth turns. It makes.‬ We take, and we make more. Welcome to Kalundborg.‬

Take a dip in‬ industrial waters—you’ve been doing it all along,‬ after all.‬ Your body has always the buffer. Things pass through you. Are you a sponge or a sieve?

What is a love of nature if not an acceptance of‬ what envelops you? There are a million ways forward. We cannot solve everything for everyone. Trust me on this one. Show‬ me a better way and we’ll try it.‬

‭Your reality is entanglement, there is no nature.‬ Shall we not acknowledge that, embrace that? To‬ regenerate or to forge ahead has always been the‬ question. This is nothing new. See it, feel it, accept it in.‬
